Thank you to everyone who reached out in 2024, it meant the world to us!
At first I went through each month of 2024 to provide a summary of the lowest lows and the highest celebrations. Needless to say, after writing them down this would have been a hour long blog entry to say the least. (Brent & I were able to do some blogging in 2024, so please go back and catch-up) Due to the crazy roller coaster ride in 2024 we weren't able to blog as I liked.
To that point it made for many changes in my medications and also changing my RNS algothrhytm. These chganges were based on data collected on the RNS, thngs I felt/journaled and what Brent and family/observed. At times I was very active in seizure activity days and nights. You see when occasions occur that over stimulate various areas of the brain, and over active emotions bring on certain seizures. (or as I call them Glitches)
My seizures were still all over the place in December, but I made the most of a very happy occasions. One was watching Bryce walk across to receive his diploma from EmbryRiddle, Aerospace Engineering in the Honors Progam. Needless to say I am one proud mom, as tears rolled down. The other occasion was decorating every inch of the house to have it all ready for my men to celebrate Christmas. I have learned when you become empty nesters, having our young men home is filled with joy!

Bring on 2025, it began with a BANG!
As the New Year comes, it is time for Broc to head back to college (UTSA) and preparing for baseball season.(more proud of how Broc wants to achieve high in academics, 4.0 for the fall President's List) Time for Brent to be back at UWF, and move Bryce back home for now. So mixed emiotions on all accounts.
Plus January is my mom's bday, so a month to treasure. I could never give enough back, for all she has done for me(plus Brent & our sons) over the many years. LOVE YOU mom!
Fast Forward to the day after we moved Bryce out, the SNOWSTORM of the CENTURY! YES you heard that right the sunshine state, had a snowstorm!(Broc even had an inch in TX,but still had practice:) Brent was the only one home to enjoy the 11 inches that fell in 1 day, and shutdown the city. Bryce & I were able to go home 5 days later but still took 8.5 hrs vs. the normal 6.
Got to have fun watching the BIG FBS National Championship game with my folks. THE Ohio State Buckeyes WON!(thats my home state) Joining Brent's Alma Mater THE NDSU Bison winning the National title for FCS.
To wrap up January I got to enjoy helping out my friend & watch her little dog named Gator:)
Brent enjoying the snowstorm under Palm Tree, we brought the snow from ND/MN!

Like my Orchids here, the one on the left is dead and the one on the right bloomed again. I learned during 2024, no matter how hard it seems there is always something better to bloom in life. So cherrish those days.
